God,
the blessing that you are in my life
reached my inner core today.
My heart ran over with gratitude
and I felt helpless with thankfulness.
There was nothing left to do
but smile
or cry,
So I did both
and felt immensely blessed some more.
Thank you seemed inadequate
so I said nothing
and melted into the terrible blessing
of being.
